Directions for Use (SHOOTER):
- Pour 1/2 of SHOOTER solution into a 1-GALLON stainless steel, glass or chemical resistant plastic container. (rinsed milk jugs work well..)
- Add water into empty SHOOTER bottle and pour into 1-gallon container
- Immerse part into Un-Rust-It solution or continuously spray part using the Un-Rust-It solution
- [Optional] Heat solution up to 150 F. max. to accelerate rust removal
- Allow part to soak until rust is removed.
- Remover part and rinse. If black residue is evident, wash off using Metal Cleaner 0001. A light scrub may help.
Directions for Use (Industrial Concentrate):
- We also support our customers with a concentrate version of the rust remover. This greatly saves in transportation costs and storage issues.
- Easily mixes with water. Using quality water is recommended but not necessary
- Mix up concentrate with water at recommended concentrations.
- Use 10% for light rust or one time use.
- Use 20% for medium to heavy rust or for re use over and over.
- Example: for light rust, mix 1 part concentrate into 9 parts water.
- Concentrate mixes easily with water, simply stir.
